Oh you heathen.... if you (or anyone else) are not building the SVN version of SD because you are scared of the download size (around 800MByte I think) you might be interested in:

You can 'cherry pick' the bits needed to build the binaries and use the 'cars/track/data' you have already got from Win32 install. This requires around 220MByte download.

toro is very retro i liked, waaayy too much torque low down in the rev range.

turned out to be a file name/upercase/lowercase problem. sorted now.

I was able to get things back to normal. See my "segfault" post in the help section.

The only problem I have, at the mopment, is that the PPA for SD 2.0 does not show up in my synaptic list. I'll get it sorted out! I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric"
